Our modular components provide educators with an intuitive and reliable interface to produce assessment materials. The authoring components are delivered as a series of question wizards, which simplify the creation of standards conformant, shareable resources. These can be aggregated into assessments or quizzes via a simple drag and drop interface.

Questions

There are already Wizards for each of the following question types:

• Multiple Choice
• Fill in the Blanks
• Free Text
• Drag and Drop

...and there are many more to come in the near future. Each wizard contains only the options necessary to build a specific type of question, so you wont get bogged down in options, and all question types support the use of images.

Assessments

Sort your questions by subject and date then simply drag and drop them into order to create assessments. Each assessment can have an unlimited number of questions of mixed format (Multiple Choice, Drag and Drop etc) and can be exported at the click of a button. Users can take an assessment and their performance monitored in the Reports area of the site.

Reports

When ever a user attempts an assessment their scores and answers* are stored in the system database. These results can be recalled and reviewed at any time from the reports page.

It could not be simpler to integrate our assessment components into your offering, and as Canvas Learning is designed as a modular system you can integrate authoring or playback components as desired. Our solution is based upon the IMS QTI specification (version 1.2.1), which is currently one of the mandatory requirements of Becta's Learning Platform Services Framework.
